Welcome to Elevate Pilates!
I’m so glad you’re here. As the owner and principal instructor of Elevate Pilates, based in the heart of the western suburbs of Chicago (River Forest, IL), it’s my passion and privilege to guide you on your Pilates journey. Pilates has been a transformative part of my life. I returned to the practice during a challenging season, and it quickly became my sanctuary—a place for healing, grounding, and personal growth. Through this journey, I’ve come to believe that true strength isn’t just about physical ability. It’s the integration of body, mind, and breath—working together to help us feel more centered, capable, and alive. Let’s move with intention and elevate your well-being, one breath at a time.

She does a fantastic job at catering to individual needs and concerns. I typically attend a duo with a friend, and Doris always reminds us what muscles we are working, using a gentle touch, encouragement and guidance to correct our positions and techniques. Doris has a fantastic, non-threatening way of instructing this endeavor which once seemed intimidating to me. Humor and belly laughs are also permitted which makes her Pilates sessions a fantastic and healthy uplift!
